Fulfilling the Purpose
An Alternative Christian Ministry
Greetings!
Thanks for visiting the Greater Baltimore Alumni Chapter of Alpha Nu Omega Fraternity, Inc. As you surf the various pages found under the “Ministry Tools” section of our site I pray you are inspired and enlightened b
y the information presented.
Working in concert with our chapter's theme this year of “Building People and Communities, as We Invest in Ourselves” (Neh. 4:16-20; 2:20), my goal as Director of Ministry is two fold; to ensure the Brothers of our chapter grow spiritually and to provide them with the “tools” necessary to help build the Kingdom of God.
As I labor in accomplishing this year's goals for the chapter, God has lead me to share our discussions with a larger audience, specifically you. I'm excited in this NU move of God, because of the knowledge and growth this will bring the Christian body. I encourage you to actively participate in our communication efforts and share information with friends and family.
Below this letter, is our national ministry theme for 2008; from it, I pray you are able to gain a deeper understanding of the ministry of Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. Again, thank you for visiting our web page; may God our Father continue to bless you and your family.
Yours in Service,
Brandon J. Swails
Director of Ministries

20/20 Vision: A Clearer Precise View
Many people in life do not have 20/20 vision. Some are classified as near sighted or farsighted and for some it doesn't matter how close or far away an object may be, we still can't see. In our spiritual walks, there are those unable to see. The things going on around us, the sin in our own lives, or lack of knowledge about God’s plan for us can cloud our vision. Our vision becomes cloudy and we begin to focus on self and can't experience and walk on the path that God has laid out for us. If the truth were told, at one point we have all been out of focus. The Bible says that we all have fallen short of the glory of God. However the Holy Spirit serves as our spiritual glasses allowing us to see Jesus Christ and God's love for us.
What does it mean to have 20/20 vision? It doesn't speak to us being perfect as an organization but rather using the past 20 years of growth and development to have a clearer and precise view of the vision. As this upcoming year approaches, we not only have learned from the legacy of our Founders and members, but also have a mindset to continue to work towards the vision God gave in 1988. We are not focused on any opposition we face, but our sight is focused on fulfilling the "call" that went forth on Nov. 3, 1988.
In Ministry,
Ranae Jackson
