Alpha Nu/Nu Alpha Jr. Fraternity & Sorority

Initially conceived out of the necessity to provide greater access to positive programming for youth in Baltimore, Maryland, the Jr. programming sponsored by Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. provides high school students in your community an opportunity to work cooperatively as a unit and individually as gender based teams to achieve and develop personal leadership skills on a local and global level. As a result of involvement, we aim to inspire and cultivate a deeper passion for academics and higher education, build community awareness, human empathy and school spirit in an environment that encourages creativity, individuality and fun for all participants.

The purpose of Alpha Nu/Nu Alpha is to present an extracurricular alternative to high school aged youth. To meet and attend to the holistic needs of the individual and provide an atmosphere that encourages pride in self, family, community, and the nation; to promote a lifestyle of academic excellence among its members.

Alpha Nu Jr. Fraternity

Alpha Nu Jr. Fraternity is created to provide a young male participant with a positive social network of like-minded students (peers) with whom he can collectively grow. Providing a “male only” faction will foster an environment conducive to open dialogue, positive male bonding and a higher level of focus towards tasks such as homework completion and group discussions. Built upon the sponsoring organization’s national principles of LIFE, (L: Leadership, I: Integrity, F: Family, E: Education) the Jr. Fraternity, with the assistance of volunteer male members of Alpha Nu Omega Fraternity, Inc., will work to develop and become young men who are able to embody each of the aforementioned principles.

Nu Alpha Jr. Sorority

Nu Alpha Jr. Sorority is created to provide a young female participant with a positive social network of like-minded students (peers) with whom she can collectively relate to provide a young female participant with a positive social network of like-minded students (peers) with who she can collectively relate and mature. Providing a "female only" faction will foster an environment conducive to open dialogue, positive female bonding and the development of young woman who respect themselves and others. Built upon the sponsoring organization's national principles of LIFE (L: Leadership, I: Integrity, F: Family, E: Education) the Jr. Sorority, with the assistance of volunteer female members of Alpha Nu Omega Sorority, Inc., will work to develop and become young women who embody the aforementioned principles.
